Dedicated to Community. Focused on Results & Transparency.

Council President Jennifer Polidori has proudly served on the Borough Council since 2018, when she was appointed to fill a vacated seat. Since then, she has been elected by her fellow Council Members to serve three terms as Council President, earning a reputation for strong leadership, accountability, and a deep commitment to the residents she serves.

During her time as the Council’s Open Space Liaison, Jen has overseen numerous improvement projects and park renovations, always with a focus on accessibility and community benefit. She was the driving force behind the town’s first fully inclusive playground—ensuring children of all abilities could play side by side—and has made it a priority that all subsequent park renovations follow this inclusive model. She has also collaborated with the schools to incorporate students into these park projects, including the creation of Lakeside Park's student-painted ‘selfie sculpture’, which complements the floating dock that she was also instrumental in bringing to fruition. When Jennifer works on a project, she oversees it from start to finish, staying engaged through every step to ensure completion in a timely and cost-efficient manner. Over the years, Jen has also chaired or served as liaison to nearly every borough board and committee, gaining extensive experience and a deep working knowledge of municipal operations. Whether it’s making sure public spaces are safe and welcoming or addressing infrastructure needs, Jen is always working to get things done efficiently and transparently

A lifelong community advocate, Jen has coached youth soccer, served on the PTA (including one term as PTA President), and continues to volunteer as an ambulance driver for her local first aid squad. She is also an active member of the Elks and the Women’s Club, and volunteer for many other organizations both in and outside of Pompton Lakes.

Professionally, Jen brings over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry and has served on boards for several nonprofit organizations. Her background brings fiscal responsibility and business acumen to every decision she makes on behalf of residents.  Jen is also an ordained minister and will proudly officiate weddings for residents, adding a personal and meaningful touch to one of life’s most important milestones, and generously donating back a portion of the officiant fee to Pompton Lakes first responder organizations.

Whether in government, in business, or in service, Jen Polidori shows up, speaks up, and works hard for her community. She’s running for re-election to continue being your voice on the council—fighting for smart development, responsible budgeting, honesty, transparency, and the values that keep our town strong.
